Pocket Table came from a conversation I had with a friend who was wishing she could clear her table by just sweeping off all the stuff. So here is a coffee table with pockets for all the magazines, newspapers and books, keeping the table surface clear. A black lacquered version of Pocket table has also been used as a desk by a Japanese artist who kneels rather that sits on a chair, with her laptop stored in the pocket.

Cut by CNC, each board is worked out so there is virtually no wastage. Each table is then assembled and finished by hand.
